Design Challenge for me FREE kit for you

When I learned that Faith Sisters was having a digi-scrap design challenge I decided to jump in and take part just for the fun of it.  There are two different categories in the challenge.  There is a category for those who are competing for a spot to sell in the Faith Sisters store, and there is a category for those who want to participate in the challenge just for the fun of it.  I am participating just for fun.

I love the blues and browns in the color palette, and what a sweet theme.  If you are unsure about the theme it comes from the song with the same name.

The lyrics are:
Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
They are yellow, brown, red, black and white
they are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I went to work right away, and I came up with this...

If you like the kit you can go get it at FS for FREE!  Each one of those children in the kit are individual png's.  I wanted to do more kids with more skin/hair color/hair length combos, but I needed to finish up.  It was a lot of fun to make this kit.  It was also very time consuming so if you go over to Faith Sisters to grab this PLEASE, please, please leave me a comment in the comment section in their gallery to let me know that you are downloading, and tell me what you think of the kit.  The designers who are competing would appreciate your comments too!  One of the ways they are judged on their kits is by their comments.  If you don't have an account in their gallery please sign up so you can leave me a little love.  I would really appreciate it!
EDIT: Since this event has expired you can no longer get this at the site.  Here are the download links...

As I was working on the kit I just felt like it needed an add-on to make the project complete.  Do you ever just have those feelings?  lol!  I had to have cardstock/solids and an alpha, so I made some.  It isn't included in the download at Faith Sisters because... well because those kits are supposed to be mini-kits!  If you want the cardstock and alpha add-on you can grab it here for free on my blog.  The alpha is still in a png sheet and not cut apart, but it is complete with upper case, lower case, numbers, and a bunch of symbols (if you need help with the un-cut alpha let me know in the comments).

Here is the add-on...
There are two downloads so be sure to grab them both:

Thank you and I hope you enjoy my designs and the Faith Sisters design challenge!

Don't forget about Sarah Bennett's super cute, super inexpensive grab bag!!!

The grab bag is $3. You'll get an adorable kit, 2 alphas, a template pack, a date pack, a word art pack... what a deal! There is also a coupon in the grab bag! it is almost like you are getting paid to buy this! I'm not kidding. What a steal! These products are probably $15-$20+ worth of digital scrap stuff plus the coupon. If I wasn't on Sarah's CT I would be be waiting for FPD to release this so I could purchase it... open, open, open.Smileys

Here is the page I did with it. I used one of the templates in the pack, the digi-kit, one of the word strips, and the date pack.

People are making all kinds of pages with this kit- girly pages, boy pages, couple pages- even a puppy page. The pages the other CT members are making are stunning, and yours will be too!

Don't ya just love sales?!!!

Free stuff, free stuff... (a free template and a free digi-scrap kit)

Hello!
I have some freebies for you. Smileys

A free template AND a free full sized digi-scrap kit.
I was intending to only make a mini-kit, but I got a little carried away Smileys and ended up with quite a bit more than I thought I would.

First of all I want to thank those of you who left me such sweet comments the last time I had a free download to offer. Your kindness was so heart warming and very much appreciated! Those kinds of comments seriously offer freebie makers motivation to keep it up. Thanks again. Hugs!!

Okay, so here is the free template. It has two circles for your photos, hollow circles to clip papers to, a cute round scallop/flowerish shape matt, some stacked papers which will provide a lot of beautiful depth, there's also room for clustering cute elements, and attaching some fun ribbons. Here is what the template looks like.

It would look cute flipped around a little too.

If you think you could use it than click on the preview below to download from MediaFire.

I hope you have fun with it!
I did not make it with the PNG's, but if you want a PNG version than let me know because I can get one up here for you. Anyway, as all of us freebie-giving-scrap-bloggers say: please leave a comment if you download it. Your words really are encouraging. If you end up using the template please email me a peek of your layout or leave a gallery link. I would be overjoyed to see what you do with it.

Now, next up a fun free digital scrapbooking kit. I was totally inspired to make this kit when I saw Sarah Bennett's Commercial Use Buttons (click on image to get a better view at Sarah's store).

There are some cute buttons in there huh?
As soon as I saw all her amazing buttons I wanted to go make a digital-scrap button frame, and then ideas for a kit just kept flowing from my brain, until I had to sit down and make the kit in my head a reality. The kit is made with Sarah's CU buttons, as well as other buttons and fun things. Of course the name of the kit is Cute As A Button! The kit is made up of items you would find if you opened up the doors to your craft cupboard and peeked inside.

It has:
Ten papers (five textured solids, and five patterns)
a cute button frame stitched up with string (a landscape orientation one and a portrait orientation one).
about eleven cute buttons (some from Sarah's CU buttons!)
Three ribbons (two straight, one curly)
A couple of "blingy" flowers
A metal flower
A real leaf
Felt branch of leaves
A little folder
A mini note paper
A string tied in a bow
A puffy paint heart
A glitter spill
An upside down staple
Distressed, (repeating down the page) "cute as a button" word art
One funky alpha with upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and some symbols.

You have two download options. You can download the WHOLE kit in one click from media fire or you can download the kit in 5 SMALLER pieces from Media Fire. If you have a really fast internet connection (or time to kill while you wait for the download) than do the one click download, otherwise you will be waiting a long time for it to finish. However don't do both options or you will be downloading the kit twice.

If you want the entire kit in one download click... WHOLE KIT

OR

If you want to download it in five separate smaller downloads here you go...

I put in a lot of hours (a lot of fun hours of course) making these freebies (especially since I have been having slow computer issues- bleh), so a little comment from those of you snagging the downloads would really make my day! Please leave comments here on the blog since the Media Fire doesn't have a place for comments like 4Shared does. Also If you have time I would REALLY appreciate any feedback you have (positive or constructive criticism) regarding the digi products. Leave feedback in the comments section or even email me at AmyP185 [at] yahoo dot com.
I hope you like these freebies and can use them!

Sarah Bennett fans will be happy to know that she has another amazing NEW kit being released on Monday! Aren't I SO blessed to be on her creative team and get to scrap for her in return for free Sarah Bennett products?!

Have a great day (and then go scrap it)!
