Out Of This World

I am so excited to show you "Out Of This World".  I am finally releasing it into my shop.  My friend's at MouseScrappers got to have the first little taste of this kit in a challenge I was hosting over there, but now it is your turn to get your hands on this fun kit.

I love how it turned out!  My boys do too lol!  This kit was made for the little boys in my life who adore the little robot from the Disney Pixar movie.  If you make a page with this make sure to head to my designer gallery at GingerScraps and upload it there.  I will be so excited to see what you make with it! Here are some great pages to give you a little Out Of This World inspiration...

It has been a blast so far!  I don't know about you, but I have a ton of holiday photos that need to be scrapped.  It is such a busy time of year in December and so hard to get to them, that is what makes this GS event so great.  There are so many fantastic Christmas In July Challenges in the forum! There are a hand full of speed scraps/chats left to participate in also.  There is a prize for doing challenges and ss/chats also.  Everyone who reaches 10 points will receive a goody bag filled with coupons from the GS designers.  I'm hosting the Winter Wonder Challenge HERE, and would love to see you at my challenge!

Here is the Chat/SS schedule:

AND last but not least the GingerScraps designers have teamed up to make a collab called Christmas In July.  We put the pieces of the collab up for free on a Facebook Hop!  You can hop around and get each desigenrs portion for free!  Now if you know me you know that I didn't have a FB page... until now! I was so excited to participate in the FB hop that I decided to get my own FB account!  Yes, I just might be the last person on Earth to get a facebook page!  LOL!  I'm so grateful for Missi, a GS site admin, who helped me because I am still really new to FB and have to learn the ropes.  I would love it if you'd like my page to help get me started.  I have a lot of cataching up to do!   :)

This is my contribution to the Christmas In July FB hop:

You can get it by liking my BRAND NEW FB PAGE!  Here: https://www.facebook.com/pages/Unforgettable-Moments/410303312339194

Hey Handsome! Grab Bag unpacked, AND Someone won a free product!

Hello!  It is Saturday morning and my husband and my boys are at Grandpa's house.  I have a rare moment alone, and awwww it is really nice.  The only sound is the clicking of my keyboard and the occasional sip of coffee lol.  I was watching FIVE kids this week.  My three boys and my friend's two little girls (their babysitter was on vacation and I agreed to watch her super cute little girls for the week).  Whew what a week! What kinds of things do you do when you get "me time?"  I'd love to hear your ideas in my comments!

Would the Nancy that made a comment on my previous (July 16) blog post please email me at AmyP185 [at] Yahoo Dot Com so I can give you a coupon code for one free product of your choice.  Take a look around my shop, and email me with what you want and it is YOURS Nancy!  Nancy looked at the sneak peek that I posted last week and took a guess at what she thought the kit would be.  Her comment was "Really like the color palette that could be used for masculine pages. Best guess would be "Game Nite."" You were almost totally correct!  It is a masculine kit, and could totally be used for game nights, but it is mostly masculine non-theme. The kit is called "Hey Handsome" named after my hubby of course ;)

I have unpacked the June GS Free With $10 purchase Grab Bag, and I am so excited to have these products in my shop!  They are all on sale through out the weekend!

The first item out of the grab bag is the "You Amaze Me Template Pack."

This will be on sale for only $2.50!

Next is the Hey Handsome Kit! It is on sale for the ridiculously "handsome" price of $3!  I seriously can't believe I marked it down so low.  It is worth much more than that.  Don't tell my boss ok!  :)

There are some word bits to add to your Hey Handsome pages also.

These are really well priced so you can easily grab them to go with your new Hey Handsome kit.  Only $1!

Last but not least is the Hey Handsome Alpha (with fasteners).  I love this product.  It is so fun to use.

Grab it now for ONLY $1.50!
It is a complete uppercase alpha with all kinds of fasteners so you can attach the alpha to your page in all kinds of fun ways.

This weekend you can grab the Hey Handsome Kit, The Hey Handsome Alpha, & the Word Bits ALL for only $5.50!  How awesome is that?!!  Throw in the templates for only $2.50 more and that is bargain shopping!

Here is a beautiful page that one of my Unforgettables made using the kit, alpha, and template:

My newsletter subscribers received a little Newsletter Exclusive Add On as well.  If you haven't had the chance to subscribe to my newsletter yet there is a little subscription box on the upper right hand side bar.  I don't want anyone to miss out on freebies and super great deals.

I  hope you do Unforgettably fun things this weekend; things that will end up in your scrapbook!
Take care!!

Something new, but not new is being released into my shop.  Look at the sneak peek (made by Unforgettable Roxana) and guess what is being released  and you could win the product of your choice from my shop.

If you have any idea of what I am talking about and have a guess what is being released lol, then leave a comment.  Don't forget to check back here over the weekend to see if you win.  I'll announce the winner this weekend, and the winner will need to email me, so don't forget to come back and see if you've won.

Good luck!  :)

Bad News Good News

I have some bad news and some good news.  I'll give you the bad news first.  DigiridooScraps is closing :(. They have been such a fun, unique shop!  I know sad huh?  My friend Katie (Key Of D Designs) is a designer there at DRS, and has to close up her shop.  This of course leads to the good news Katie is having a crazy-amazing sale.

She has some cute stuff like

Head on over to Katie's shop and stock up because everything is closing and won't be available after the 15th!

QR codes on scrapbook pages? whoa!

How cool to be showing off your album to your friends and than pull out your smart phone to snap the QR code to show them the video you've uploaded to youtube or something.  Isn't that the crazy-coolest thing?!!  What do you think of that?  Would you do it in your own printed scrapbook?

If you havent' seen the article at DST about this you can check it out HERE.  I might consider doing this someday.  How about you?

Do you agree?

I think this is true.  "Family isn't always blood."  I consider some of my closest family members people I don't share DNA or last names with. I have even taken in a young "nephew" into my home because he needs someone to love him and take care of him, and technically he is not biologically related to me or my husband.  Anyway if you agree with this let me know in the comments.  I think maybe I should do a kit with this theme.  Any suggestions for colors or elements?

Love you my digi-family :)
Amy
