What A Wonderful Day! A new kit and a freebie

I have a new kit in my shop (and if you read through this post until the end you will find a freebie I have for you too).  My new kit is called What A Wonderful Day.  The color palette of the kit was inspired my CT friend Roxana, and the theme is loosely inspired by the song "Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah." (check out the youtube video HERE but ignore the rhetoric in the youtube comments).
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-A
My oh my what a wonderful day
Plenty of sunshine headed my way
Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-A

Mister blue birds on my shoulder
It's the truth
It's actual
Everything is satisfactual

Zip-A-Dee-Doo-Dah Zip-A-Dee-A
Wonderful feeling
Wonderful Day

My mom used to sing that song to us as children, and I can't help, but think happy thoughts when I think of that song.
What A Wonderful Day is bright, whimsical, and so much fun!  If you are combating the dark winter time blues than this kit will add some welcome color into your life!

You can find What A Wonderful day in my shop HERE, and you can get it on sale for only $3 through Sunday.

Feeling Sneaky? :)

For all my sneaky friends here is a little sneak peek of what I have coming out Friday

I hope all that brightness will inspire you!  It is a nice change from the short, dark days we've been seeing in this part of the world this winter. If you are in the opposite hemisphere where you are enjoying sunshine and summer (so lucky!) this kit will be perfect for your summer months.  You only have to wait  until Friday to see the full preview of this super fun kit.  If you come back Friday you'll see the whole preview AND there just might be a nice free gift here for YOU!!  :)

Thanks for the GSO!

It is so exciting when layouts get recognition isn't it?  Tipou put a layout I made using Melissa Bennett's Love Is Spoken Here kit in the GSO thread at DST.
Here is my layout....
It is called You At 18 Months Old

It is a layout of my baby boy, and things that describe him in his 18th month.

Here is the kit I used...

Thanks for letting me share, and thanks for the GSO!  It made my day!

Christmas Joy!

Have you been as busy as me preparing for Christmas?  It has been so much fun.  This year my three year old and his enthusiasm has really made me experience Christmas in such a fun way.

We went to visit Santa.  My 18 month old stayed as far away as he could, but Nolan was so excited.  He was a little nervous, but he was just bubbling with excitement.  He only asked Santa for two things- a pillow pet and a banjo.  Funny requests really- pillow pets are everywhere and banjos for kids? are almost non-existent lol!  I hear Santa has had some luck though lol!!

I hope with all the hustle and bustle of preparing for Christmas you stop and take some time to scrap your favorite memories of the season!
Big hugs to you all and I hope you are enjoying yourselves this time of year!
