No self-discipline!!!!

I know I said I was going to be handing out freebies, and I will!  I still really want to!  However my digi-friend Katie of Key Of D Designs distracted me with her really pretty new kit called Summer Skies.  I can't resist a cute kit!  I meant to tackle my to-do list before I scrapped with her kit, but I FAILED the to-do list. :)   I have no self-discipline when it comes to scrapping!

Here is the preview of Summer Skies:

I scrapped a photo of my little boy and I on the Gondola in Breckenridge, Colorado where we visited for my my SIL's wedding.

I highly recommend you check out Key Of D Designs' shop!  She has some really pretty things in her store (AND she also has some freebies in there too!!!)

OK now I really better get going on that to-list!
Take care, and see you soon!

I've got some news...

I'm going to be a real designer in a real shop! :)  I may have to give out some freebies to celebrate!  But right now I have to do laundry instead of scrapping or designing :(
I will be back though lol!

Design Challenge for me FREE kit for you

When I learned that Faith Sisters was having a digi-scrap design challenge I decided to jump in and take part just for the fun of it.  There are two different categories in the challenge.  There is a category for those who are competing for a spot to sell in the Faith Sisters store, and there is a category for those who want to participate in the challenge just for the fun of it.  I am participating just for fun.

I love the blues and browns in the color palette, and what a sweet theme.  If you are unsure about the theme it comes from the song with the same name.

The lyrics are:
Jesus loves the little children
All the children of the world
They are yellow, brown, red, black and white
they are precious in His sight
Jesus loves the little children of the world.

I went to work right away, and I came up with this...

If you like the kit you can go get it at FS for FREE!  Each one of those children in the kit are individual png's.  I wanted to do more kids with more skin/hair color/hair length combos, but I needed to finish up.  It was a lot of fun to make this kit.  It was also very time consuming so if you go over to Faith Sisters to grab this PLEASE, please, please leave me a comment in the comment section in their gallery to let me know that you are downloading, and tell me what you think of the kit.  The designers who are competing would appreciate your comments too!  One of the ways they are judged on their kits is by their comments.  If you don't have an account in their gallery please sign up so you can leave me a little love.  I would really appreciate it!
EDIT: Since this event has expired you can no longer get this at the site.  Here are the download links...
Elements 1
Elements 2
Paper 1
Paper 2

As I was working on the kit I just felt like it needed an add-on to make the project complete.  Do you ever just have those feelings?  lol!  I had to have cardstock/solids and an alpha, so I made some.  It isn't included in the download at Faith Sisters because... well because those kits are supposed to be mini-kits!  If you want the cardstock and alpha add-on you can grab it here for free on my blog.  The alpha is still in a png sheet and not cut apart, but it is complete with upper case, lower case, numbers, and a bunch of symbols (if you need help with the un-cut alpha let me know in the comments).

Here is the add-on...
There are two downloads so be sure to grab them both:

Thank you and I hope you enjoy my designs and the Faith Sisters design challenge!
