Sister Sue is HERE! Check this out... (Freebies Too)

Sarah Bennett's new release is called Sister Sue. Cute name for a cute kit!

You'll definitely want to check this out because you can walk away with this kit for 20% off Monday only! It is available in Sarah's shop at Funky Playground Designs

I had so much fun with Sister Sue. I was feeling super lucky to get the kit early and free for being on Sarah's CT. Here is the page I made with Sister Sue. It is of my baby boy. He really is such a sweet baby!

I kind of like putting things together that are a little more on the feminine side since I only have boys to scrap. So here is a Sister Sue Word Art for you for free. It has some grunged up "sweet" words behind the word sweetness. There is a version with darker "sweet" background words and a white background words version so it will go with whatever background paper you use.

download from Media Fire: here
And of course if you upload a layout to a public gallery with this freebie on it don't forget to credit "word art using Sister Sue by Sarah Bennett" there is a TOU in the download if you have questions.

You won't want to miss out on the FREE Sister Sue mini add on that Sarah made. Think of it as the little sister, haha. She always has the cutest add on's and how COOL is it that she is giving it away FREE. Head over to Sarah's blog to snag it, and don't forget to tell her thank you for this cute little freebie!

Thanks for visiting my blog today. I hope you are enjoying your day and getting lots of scrapping done!

Just a quick hello!

Hi there blog land friends. Smileys
I just wanted to come on and say hi, tell you what I have been up to, and show you some stuff.

I'm SUPER excited that Valerie Ostrom has asked me to be a guest on her creative team for November. Woo hoo! She sells at Pretty Scrappy and Scrapable. She has some super amazing designs so go have a little look- you won't be disappointed.

I am very anxious to start working for her and telling you all about her beautiful products.

I am also very pleased to say that I just started creating for Funky Playground Designs on their Creative Team. Yay! FPD has become one of my favorite shops. I love how organized their challenges are, the forum is so much fun, their (open!) gallery always has so much inspiration and everyone there is so nice. Being on their CT is a huge blessing!

My very first FPD CT layout came from
Fall Friends by Miss Tiina

Quick Layout

I quickly threw a page together using the "Cute as a Button" kit I made and posted about a few posts ago.

I have a list of things I need to do differently if I ever do something like that again. It is tons of fun for me to do, but boy do I have A LOT to learn. Thank you for the motivation to keep learning! Smileys

Crazy/Beautiful RELEASE, A layout, and... some FREEBIES

I hope you all had a great weekend. I had some fun times with my family this weekend and enjoyed every minute. I kind of had to blink a few times at the calendar to make sure it is really the middle of October already. Time sure does fly! Speaking of time, you still have time to go grab Sarah Bennett's newest release called Crazy/Beautiful over at FunkyPlaygroundDesigns while it is still on sale. It is on sale until the end of today.

You have got to see how cute this is...

Click the image to get a better look.

I feel that is such a blessing to be on Sarah's CT, and get free use her fabulous products! Here is the layout I made with Crazy/Beautiful. It is of our little neighbor girl holding my son a few months back.

It is a really fun kit to use.

It was so fun scrapping with Crazy/Beautiful I couldn't stop with just making a layout. I had to make a little word art also, and if you could use it you are welcome to download it!

[A little (obvious) reminder if you end up using the word art on a page you upload to a public gallery: the credit for the word art should read something like this- "word art using Crazy/Beautiful by Sarah Bennett." There is a TOU in the download if you have any questions.]

Another freebie opportunity for you! Sarah Bennett made this Crazy/Beautiful add on and she is giving it away on her blog for FREE. I think it is SO cute!

Head on over to Sarah's blog to grab it. It is in today's post October 19th.

Thank you for your comments on my last post. When I read your comments it truly is inspirational, and gets me excited to post more freebies. And I did get some requests to make my last template freebie with png's, so I'll be (gladly) doing that as soon as I can. Ok that is it for me for today. I have to go grab some lunch and take my boys to the park before it rains.

Have a fun day because soon this day will be a memory, so you may as well make it a good one!

Free stuff, free stuff... (a free template and a free digi-scrap kit)

Hello!
I have some freebies for you. Smileys

A free template AND a free full sized digi-scrap kit.
I was intending to only make a mini-kit, but I got a little carried away Smileys and ended up with quite a bit more than I thought I would.

First of all I want to thank those of you who left me such sweet comments the last time I had a free download to offer. Your kindness was so heart warming and very much appreciated! Those kinds of comments seriously offer freebie makers motivation to keep it up. Thanks again. Hugs!!

Okay, so here is the free template. It has two circles for your photos, hollow circles to clip papers to, a cute round scallop/flowerish shape matt, some stacked papers which will provide a lot of beautiful depth, there's also room for clustering cute elements, and attaching some fun ribbons. Here is what the template looks like.

It would look cute flipped around a little too.

If you think you could use it than click on the preview below to download from MediaFire.

I hope you have fun with it!
I did not make it with the PNG's, but if you want a PNG version than let me know because I can get one up here for you. Anyway, as all of us freebie-giving-scrap-bloggers say: please leave a comment if you download it. Your words really are encouraging. If you end up using the template please email me a peek of your layout or leave a gallery link. I would be overjoyed to see what you do with it.

Now, next up a fun free digital scrapbooking kit. I was totally inspired to make this kit when I saw Sarah Bennett's Commercial Use Buttons (click on image to get a better view at Sarah's store).

There are some cute buttons in there huh?
As soon as I saw all her amazing buttons I wanted to go make a digital-scrap button frame, and then ideas for a kit just kept flowing from my brain, until I had to sit down and make the kit in my head a reality. The kit is made with Sarah's CU buttons, as well as other buttons and fun things. Of course the name of the kit is Cute As A Button! The kit is made up of items you would find if you opened up the doors to your craft cupboard and peeked inside.

It has:
Ten papers (five textured solids, and five patterns)
a cute button frame stitched up with string (a landscape orientation one and a portrait orientation one).
about eleven cute buttons (some from Sarah's CU buttons!)
Three ribbons (two straight, one curly)
A couple of "blingy" flowers
A metal flower
A real leaf
Felt branch of leaves
A little folder
A mini note paper
A string tied in a bow
A puffy paint heart
A glitter spill
An upside down staple
Distressed, (repeating down the page) "cute as a button" word art
One funky alpha with upper case letters, lower case letters, numbers, and some symbols.

You have two download options. You can download the WHOLE kit in one click from media fire or you can download the kit in 5 SMALLER pieces from Media Fire. If you have a really fast internet connection (or time to kill while you wait for the download) than do the one click download, otherwise you will be waiting a long time for it to finish. However don't do both options or you will be downloading the kit twice.

If you want the entire kit in one download click... WHOLE KIT

OR

If you want to download it in five separate smaller downloads here you go...
Alpha
Papers 1
Papers 2
Elements 1
Elements 2

I put in a lot of hours (a lot of fun hours of course) making these freebies (especially since I have been having slow computer issues- bleh), so a little comment from those of you snagging the downloads would really make my day! Please leave comments here on the blog since the Media Fire doesn't have a place for comments like 4Shared does. Also If you have time I would REALLY appreciate any feedback you have (positive or constructive criticism) regarding the digi products. Leave feedback in the comments section or even email me at AmyP185 [at] yahoo dot com.
I hope you like these freebies and can use them!

Sarah Bennett fans will be happy to know that she has another amazing NEW kit being released on Monday! Aren't I SO blessed to be on her creative team and get to scrap for her in return for free Sarah Bennett products?!

Have a great day (and then go scrap it)!

PEEK-A-BOO...

I just (finally) put the finishing touches on the freebie kit I have been working on. I don't have time to get it all organized and zipped up right now, but I wanted to give you a little peek...

I'll see you... (hopefully tomorrow with this freebie.)

I'm hoping to squeeze in some time tomorrow to get things "buttoned up" and get back here to put the freebie kit up.
See you soon!

"Memories Of You"

Sarah Bennett has done it again! Check out how pretty her newest kit is! It is called Memories of You. The image is linked, so go take a closer look and grab this kit.

I had to scrap this sweet photo of my two year old and his grandpa walking toward the ocean last weekend. This will be a very sweet memory for all of us, and what a great kit to use to scrap such a moment!

A little update...

Hi there! I hope you all are enjoying the last of your weekend. Right now my husband is out with our two year old, and it is just the baby and I at home. He is three and a half months old, and right now is trying really hard to roll from his back to his tummy. He is kind of pushing himself in circles- what a cutie. I've been working on a little freebie for you!! It is a mini-kit, and I'm having fun working on it. Slowly, but surely it is coming along. I just wanted to pop on here so you all didn't think I forgot about you. I can't wait to finish up this little kit. It is my first one, and I'm looking forward to seeing it put together. I will get the chance to work on it today if my hubby and two year old stay out a little longer. My computer has been SO slow lately, so it makes photoshop painfully slow to use. Thank goodness my hard working husband is going to replace my old computer next month.

My next post will probably be about Sarah Bennett's new kit that is being released Monday, tomorrow at FunkyPlaygroundDesigns. If you like pretty kits that have tons of versatility and possibilities for scrapping your special memories you will LOVE her newest release! I can't wait to show you her new kit, you will love it.

Hopefully soon I will be passing out my freebie.
I hope you all are having some unforgettable moments to scrap!
